How I would "Fix" Midjourney

Midjourney Redesign

I hope you've been enjoying your summer! Midjourney is currently testing a new redesign on their Alpha Website - and I wanted to share some of my most wanted features.

The first one should be an easy win: Custom Shortcuts

We should be able to easily make our own prompting shortcuts, and I even made a little mockup of what that might look like (see below)

And then my second suggestion - even though this is much more complicated - I would love to be able to order Art Prints of my favorite images!

^ Wouldn't that be so cool? I feel like I would be ordering stickers all the time ...

What would you add to Midjourney if you could?

I had some more ideas, and I talked about them in this video if you want to check it out:

Let me know what you think, & thanks for being cool,

P.S. Licia from my community found an adorable style code - you should try --sref 3362581271 in your prompts if you want art like this - and you can find more styles here: https://ftp.live/skool

Live Preview This new Midjourney update is crazy ... I honestly don't know how it's possible, but if you go to the Alpha Website (https://alpha.midjourney.com) - and click on the 'Styles' button in the top right panel, you can turn on 'Live Previews' and see your most recent prompt in a bunch of different art styles without needing to generate anything It really does feel like magic - and I made a quick video going over the feature if you want some more guidance / see it in action: And if you...

Consistent Characters So I've been running some experiments with Midjourney's new Edit Model, and I have one clear piece of advice that I think will help you out. The Goal: Generating a consistent character in a new scene The Answer: You need to create a collage of that character first! ^ You can create those individual images by using the 'quick edit' and prompting for things like 'side-view' or 'back-view' - as well as a 'front-zoomed portrait of her face' Then you can assemble those photos...
