Cool Photoshoot Midjourney Trick for 'Consistency'

Hey! I have an old trick that I tried again recently and I wanted to share it with you.

First, let me define the idea of a photoshoot - it could mean a few things:

  1. same setting / same person / different poses
  2. same setting / different people
  3. different setting / same person
  4. different art styles / same person

Today I'm going to show you how you can do #3 -> have the same character in different settings while keeping a consistent style.

First, we need a foundational generation and you can include a link to your character after the '--cref' parameter

Prompt used: vintage polaroid of a woman, neon genesis evangelion style --ar 1:1 --p 488uqar --s 1000 --c 3 --cref https://s.mj.run/PyjXFUBBjHQ --cw 0

^ the two most important parts of that prompt are --c 3 and --cw 0

  • start with a low 'chaos' (between 1 - 5) and turn your 'character weight' all the way down to 0

You'll end up with a generation like this:

I chose the image in the top left, and then I used the remix strong feature to adjust the prompt.

You can find the remix feature in your /settings on Discord, and you'll find remix under 'Creation Actions' on the Website.

Make sure you choose the 'strong' variation/remix option -> and change the chaos value to '50' ...

Check out this 'mini-photoshoot'!

Pretty amazing right??

If you liked this sort of lesson, let me know and I will prioritize making a dedicated video for it.

^ Special thanks to 'Highly Educated Trucker' for inspiring this one

Before I go, I wanted to show you one of my current favorite words to use in a prompt - Azure

Mood Boards Midjourney finally released their advanced personalization system, and now we can create specific mood boards to direct the style of our generations! I created a video all about it & you can get caught up here ^ I think the best part of this update is how easily we can create these styles and share the codes with each other, so if you and I have similar preferences, you can use '--profile aisq5g2' in your prompt for the 'unsplash' vibe a woman, chic fashionista --chaos 3 --ar 16:9...

Describe The Font Generating text with Midjourney is not easy, but there are some nuanced strategies that can help you improve your output! Like take a look at this grid as an example, a dark shadow man that says "too late for tea" - just asking for simple text will make the words appear small and insignificant. a dark shadow man that says "too late for tea" --ar 16:9 --seed 853058 --personalize h9zrlwt --niji 6 But I have a hunch that most people would expect the text to be incorporated into...

Set The Tone I have an ultra-powerful word for you to try in Midjourney if you're looking for lavish and extravagant scenes You gotta try 'opulent' in your prompt! an opulent kitchen Do you see how simple and effective it can be? It also works great for subjects when you include the word 'unsplash' a woman in an opulent outfit, unsplash --ar 9:16 --personalize yujiu53 --v 6.1 And it can be amazing when you try it with a character reference (but be warned, some images might generate as NSFW) a...
