Amazing Prompt Workflow + Promo Code

You won't believe how cool this trick is - and I think there is only one way to accomplish it!

If you've experimented with Midjourney, you'll know that creating a dichotomy between art styles is not an easy thing to do!

I have to give a big special thanks to Daemon42 - who shared this technique with me over on Discord.

I'm going to break down this workflow into 5 clear steps.

Step 1: Generate an 'extreme' art style with a hole / portal / break in the photo.

You could describe any type of cartoonish style or on the complete opposite end of things - a realistic photo

In todays example, I used the prompt - a pencil sketch of a small figure standing beside a jagged hole in the wall

Step 2: Generate the 'opposite' art style that will appear on the other side of the wall

Since I started with a pencil sketch, I'm going to generate something photorealistic that will be seen through the hole

I went with the prompt - landscape photography of a bright sunny day, beautiful green field with a mountain in the distance

Step 3: We need to copy the image link of our landscape photo so that we can use it as a Style Reference!

We can do this by clicking on our landscape photo so that it expands/enlarges on Discord - then right+click and select 'copy image address'

Step 4: Use Vary (Region) on our foreground photo (the sketch) and do our best to select the shape of the hole

Step 5: Now we have to edit our prompt ... We need to rewrite the scene to describe what we want to see and include our landscape picture as a Style Reference!

Here is what I used for the prompt - landscape photography, a large break in the 4th wall, with a jagged hole. Beyond the hole is a landscape photograph of a beautiful country landscape with mountains in the distance -

All the credit goes to Daemon42 - I used his exact prompt for this prompting section.

DON'T FORGET We need to include our 'opposite' photo as a Style Reference at the end of the prompt!

We can add '--sref' and then paste our image link using 'ctrl+v' or 'cmd+v'

The whole rewritten prompt will look something like this

And there you go!

How amazing is this??

The Midjourney Community is awesome and I'm happy we can all share cool techniques with each other.
